Tavalon Tea is a tea company located in New York City. Tavalon Tea was co-founded by John-Paul Lee, Sonny Caberwal, and Chris Cason in 2005. Tavalon Tea sets out to specifically blend loose teas for the American palate, and to add a fresh, new image to loose tea in the U.S.
Tavalon Tea used to have a tea bar, located near the 14th street-Union Square subway stop, open at least into 2008, but it has permanently closed.
The company sells tea online, and their teas are also available through restaurants, hotels, and spas.
