Vintage TeaWorks is a tea company, founded in 2012 by Brandon Ford, and based in Akron, OH, which has created a series of tea blends and herbal blends, inspired by various wines. Each of the blends sold by Vintage TeaWorks is designed to capture some aspect of the essence of a different type of wine.
In January of 2017, Brandon Ford annouced a retirement or hiatus for the Vintage TeaWorks brand, leaving open the possibility of returning to it.

I had the opportunity to sample this tea at World Tea East, and speak to this company's founder, Brandon Ford. I was not only impressed with the teas, but with how Brandon's description of each tea meshed with my experience of it--I find it hard to capture the qualities of tea in words, so that was impressive.
