I purchased this at a Cantonese grocery store in Edison, NJ.

I really liked this. It is a high-end Japanese tea, but is unsorted, meaning that it also contains larger pieces of leaf and stem, something that is often missing from the higher-quality teas. As such I find it has a bolder flavor and more complex aroma.

Not a bad sencha. Not a great one either. This is the sort of tea you drink on a daily basis without any sort of sentimental attachment, until the brand implements changes years on and you find yourself nostalgic for the old packaging of your youth.

The same things that I said about ITO-EN's hojicha apply to this brand--except for the fact that I enjoy this one just a bit better. I find there to be a bit more strength in this version, and I'm a person that seeks out strong tea.

Very mild, mellow flavor, but without being bland. This was good quality for a tea bag, and given that the tea bag did not seem to have the most generous quantity of leaf.

The brew is cloudy, as expected for a blend containing matcha, and the aroma is mostly of popcorn. More popcorn-like and less toasty than other...
