Amber liquor. Aroma is very mild. The taste is very mild. It would be fine for all day sipping. To my taste, milk or sugar will overpower this tea.

I liked this tea and found it very interesting, it wasn't a favorite at first but it made me write and think a lot, and I found it grew on me. This is a Ceylon whose character is somewhat in between the high-grown, lighter Ceylon black teas and the richer, maltier ones. Strong but smooth, with tones of rice, wintergreen, and malt. Very rich red-brown color.

Tiny leaves with abundant gold buds. By itself it was only a so-so tea, but with the addition of milk it took a huge leap forward into being very, very good, with a hint of malt on top of a solid dry oak leaf and floral note.
