Hear me roar! I can't tell if I like it or not, but it is definitely smokey. But it is also very smooth and mellow. I don't think those unfamiliar with LS would like it. It's very good, but somehow, for me, the smoke is a bit wrong.

The "Ne plus ultra" of Lapsang Souchongs. The high bar for all others. It is superb. Yes, it is smokey - that's what a LS is, but this has a sweet note to the aroma and that carries through into the tea, which is rich and smooth and mellow. It also keeps well. I have some I have had for 4 years and it is still won...
