The aroma of the fairly massive leaves is very green, a mix of edamame, spinach, and a bit of hay and grass. It is not the most complex Sencha I have ever sniffed, but the aroma is strong and a good blend of sweet and green, I enjoy it and can certainly see this being an excellent tea to sniff while focusing on the moo...

The aroma of the needles is as beautiful as the leaves, very light and delicate with notes of chestnuts, fresh hay, mown grass, and an ocean breeze. I have such a weakness for teas that have a marine note to their taste or aroma, it instantly transports me to the beach and that makes me immensely happy. I think I am ju...

The aroma of the vibrantly green leaves is sweet, a blend of sweet hay, grass, and spinach. There is a touch of seaweed at the finish giving the tea a bit of that sea-side aroma that I so love in teas. It might be the name playing havoc with my sense, but the aroma really does remind me of summer.
The first steep i...

The aroma is very green, like fresh grass and moisture, an odd description, but it reminded me of the way cut grass smells after a brief rain storm. There is also a touch of nuttiness and sweetness with an end note of sweet peas.
The taste is a bit grassy and sweet like stone fruit, there is a touch of fresh kelp an...
Sencha Fuka-midori from Den's Tea

The aroma is sweet and green, fresh grass and kelp with a touch of artichoke cover the vegetal end. Chestnut and very faint citrus notes cover the mild sweetness. This tea is very much so the 'ideal' of a Sencha, basically it smells exactly like you expect a Sencha to smell like.
The taste is a fantastic blend of fr...

The aroma is exactly what you expect a good Sencha to smell like: fresh grass, springtime, and a touch of citrus. The aroma of the brewed tea is like a spring field with sweet notes of cane sugar and hay.
The taste is initially sweet and grassy, evoking spring. There is also a hint of citrus in the aftertaste. Quit...
