With the first brewing I could detect a lime scent, but it was fairly subdued. The citrus flavors are even more muted when drinking. They did seem to smooth out the black tea for me, but not enough. I would have appreciated a brighter tasting cup.
There's a hint of bitterness at the end, though it wasn't intense. This drink is made notably more drinkable with cream added.
Inside the bag the tea was a fine dust, which no doubt lead to the quick diffusion of the tea for both steeps. You really don't have to steep this one more than a couple minutes to get plenty of the flavor.
I can really feel the caffeine, so if you're needing a drink to wake you up, this will certainly do that.
Glad I tried it and it's better than some black teas, but ultimately it's not for me.

I think this is by far the best lemon tea I've had in a bag! I really can't wait to get more.
Because it's atypical of me to like any type of flavored tea, especially lemon, I feel that my liking this tea *a lot* is substantial.
I brewed it on the light side for 3 minutes, and was elated with the results: a fine black tea with a subtle kiss of lemon... mmm. Not too strong, not too bitter, and nicely refreshing.

An interesting change of pace; not my favorite.
Much more lime than lemon in the aroma; this is no standard lemon black tea. The base tea is bold, strong, and malty. The overall effect is a very edgy cup, completely unlike how adding lemon usually takes the edge off a strong black tea.
Nice, and interesting, but this doesn't seem to work as well as the peach-passionfruit flavored black tea that I recently tried from Ahmad.
I'd strongly prefer either that tea, or any of Ahmad's pure black teas. Inexpensive though. I think there are a lot of worse flavored teas on the market that are priced higher than this one.
