Rosehip and hibiscus is my favorite herbal combination, so when I decided to try Ahmad's herbal teas, this was a natural for me.
The dry tea smells like cherry juice and sawdust. Brewed, the cherry is still prominent, but the rosehips and hibiscus add to the aroma. The cherry flavor adds too much sweetness to the flavor for my preference. It tastes very similar to Celestial Seasonings Black Cherry Berry. It tastes fine, but I really like the flavor of rosehips and the cherry overpowers them. I'll stick to straight rosehip-hibiscus blends.
Like all of Ahmad's teas, this is relatively inexpensive. Rosehip blends are very popular at the Middle Eastern store where I buy Ahmad teas and there are several Middle Eastern brands that are less expensive.
