While I had some of this tea at work, steeping in an open steel Thermos, my co-worker smelled it across a fairly large room, and asked me if I were drinking spiced apple cider. My response: "Yeah: a herbal tea by that exact name." I guess that tells you how closely this mimics real cider; if not, I'll vouch for it directly as well. In fact, I then told him, "It's a great herbal reproduction of the real thing—like cider without all the sugar." Lo and behold, when I went here to post a review, I found another one 12 years old, stating the very same thing.
This is an outstanding herbal tea, nice and potent like I like it, tasting exactly like it advertises, and smelling at least as good (both in-cup and in the dry and wet bags). The flavor is more sour than sharp, like most real ciders I can get in these parts. Still, although I prefer sharp cider, the sourness didn't overwhelm nor detract. This one's a winner!

I simply love this tea. It is like hot apple cider without the sugar. I has a wonderful aroma, like a high-quality candle and the flavor is amazing.
I add nothing to this tea and it is nearly perfect. The sweet apples blended perfectly with cinnamon. It is so lovely on a cool day. It tastes so much like actual hot apple cider, just not as sickeningly sweet as I find it to be.
A must-have fall and winter tea.
