I'm honestly not sure whether or not I'm tasting the "milky" quality intended, but silky and smooth are quite accurate. I would also say it has a soothing, muted, simple flavor. I've only tried a few straight oolongs and not been a big fan of them, but this one tastes quite comforting. It'd made a very nice everyday drinking tea. The more I drink it, the better I like it.
