Commercial Description
Our Premium Green tea is a blend of select green teas. Beautifully handled leaves are steam processed in the traditional Japanese style to preserve the flavor, fragrance, and color of the fresh leaf. The finished tea leaves are a vibrant green that brew into a bright golden-green liquor with a delicately herbaceous, slightly sweet and nutty flavor.
Brewing Instructions: (from Stash Tea)
Brew 1-3 minutes.

As a bagged tea, this is one of the better ones that I have had in 4-5 years. It keeps surprising me. Yes, its wonderful! Herbaceous, green grassy flavour. I found a perky-ness to its aroma, good going Stash. Wondering if it is Japanese tea?

I would agree with others that it's a little grassy and bitter. It's drinkable, but not a favorite. It has a slightly baked aroma that isn't for me. It reminds me a little of teas make with rice. Inside the bag the pieces are very small, like dust.

It was fine - good but not great. Very green/grassy smelling and brews darker than most green bagged teas. Not a fave.

Aroma grassy, fresh, a bit fishy. There's a hint of sweetness...a lot of astringency though. More like a sencha than any other kind of green tea. Is this tea attempting to be a sencha?
This tea is very difficult to brew. It scalds easily if the water is too hot, leaving it bitter and sour; there are a generous amount of leaves but they are very fine particles and infuse very quickly...for a single cup, 2 minutes is almost too long and results in an overpowering cup. I would recommend either brewing a small pot with one teabag, or using only 1 minute for one cup and making a second infusion later.
I'm not sure this is a good choice for a mainstream brand's default "green tea"; other brands have gentler teas that are easier to brew well. But if you brew it properly it's quite enjoyable.

Don't like. It's really bitter tasting - I recommend Stash Tea's Fusion Green and White for something smoother yet still rich in antioxidants.
