Commercial Description
These old tea plants still partially grow wild in the North of Vietnam, and smallholders of surrounding villages process the leaves traditionally. Mahogany-colored, sweet and full-bodied cup.

One-litre pot at home, made from small, sapphire grey and dark brown curly organic leaves. Pours clear dark copper brown (against white china) with no sediment. Deep aroma of leaves, with pronounced malty touches. Bitter, but not aggressive, flavour of black tea leaves, with malty notes and spicy hints. Astringent palate with a leafy and spicy aftertaste. Well-balanced and tasty. A really nice black tea. Reasonable price (€7.20 per 100 g).
