My mother really loved oolong tea, and first introduced me to this one as a recommendation since she first found it in a local Asian market. She loved the convenience of the foil wrapped sachets that made it convenient for her to stick in her purse when traveling, and I came to love the clean, simple, green oolong flavor and aroma.
So glad that Alex Z. liked this one as well, and love his review of this one. The way the tea expands is quite phenomenal, and I also don't brew it for more than 3 minutes as it gets too intense.
The same company (Tradition / Good Young Tea Company, Taiwan) also makes a really nice "fresh Green Tea" in sachets and "Barley Tea", but both are very hard to find.

The best oolong I've had in a tea bag; nothing else comes close. Definitely up there with the top teas I've ever sampled from a tea bag.
Even in the bag, this smells like high-quality green oolong. Very similar to the two loose-leaf. The tea bag is fairly roomy, giving the leaf quite a lot of room to expand, and expand it does--this bag was puffed out to the max after brewing it!
Brews an intensely aromatic cup with a full body and very strong flavor. This is better than most loose-leaf oolong. Aroma is floral, orchid-like, suggestive of honey...flavor is very bold, with both sweetness and bitterness, and relatively little sourness.
The second infusion, however, I found disappointed me slightly (only slightly) relative to how Tradition's loose-leaf oolong performs. The loose-leaf easily lasts through three or more infusions but for this cup, the second was less flavorful than the first and I think that was the end of it.
I recommend a briefer first infusion--3 minutes I think is too long for my tastes, especially if I wanted a second cup. This bag is big enough that it might brew up two cups of tea if you steep the bag for a long time.
I highly recommend this if you're ever stuck using a tea bag.
