A smoothie it is. If it weren't for all the spice, woodsiness and a tiny sharp edge, it could just slide down so effortlessly. It smells like new pencils, an old barn in the sun, a little spice, a little chocolate, autumn leaves and an illusive sharpness. It tastes pretty much that way, also. Truly a lovely tea. I only brewed it for 4 minutes, instead of the recommended 5 and then did a second wash using half the water. Definitely a fainter cousin, but hey - ya never know. And it was pretty decent.
