The aroma is a lovely blend of nuttiness, vegetal and sweet. The brewed leaves have a toasted quality along with a blend of green beans and a hint of citrus. All the scents are subtle and balanced.
The taste is quite different from the traditional Japanese Genmaicha, more vegetal and herbaceous rather than grassy. The mouthfeel is buttery smooth and quite enjoyable.
