My Zen Tea is a tea company founded by Zi Yang in 2013, as a subsidiary of the Chinese company Miao Yin Zen Tea, Ltd., founded in 2004 in Shenzhen, China.
My Zen Tea focuses exclusively on selling Pu-erh tea from Yunnan, China, which it sells both in the traditional compressed forms, and in tea bags.

I wasn't too thrilled with this, my first green pu-erh. It's more flavorful than My Zen Tea's black pu-erh, but the flavor was a little too bitter and astringent for me, even with a short brew.
Read Full ReviewI've never had pu-erh before this, so I can't compare between brands. This tea brews a nice dark brown. The flavor is earthy and mellow. It's also pretty mild, a little sugar seemed to cover up most of the flavor. I liked it, but I didn't think it was outstanding.

I tend not to be a fan of Shu Pu-erh at all, and my expectations for a tea bag were pretty low, but I was happy to say this greatly exceeding my expectations.
