White Ginger Pear from Tea Forte
Style: Fruit White Tea – Region: Blend77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Apr. 22nd, 2015
I thought this tea was light and refreshing, with fruity (not too overwhelmingly like pear) and slightly tangy (very mildly ginger) flavors. I steeped it for about six minutes and got a mild but noticeable ginger flavor. There are no toasty aromas or flavors at all from the white tea, which I liked. I was given this as...

Premium Pu-erh Tea - Green from My Zen Tea
Style: Raw (Sheng) Pu-erh – Region: Yunnan, China50 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Mar. 22nd, 2015
I wasn't too thrilled with this, my first green pu-erh. It's more flavorful than My Zen Tea's black pu-erh, but the flavor was a little too bitter and astringent for me, even with a short brew.

English Breakfast from Twinings
Style: English Breakfast – Region: ?????63 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5
Mar. 22nd, 2015
This is my everyday black tea, as it's a few hundred times better than Lipton and still affordable. It's okay on its own, but I usually add cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, sugar and milk to make my own chai. I don't find it to be too strong or astringent, but I don't steep it for very long and I never go for a seco...

Premium Pu-erh Tea - Black from My Zen Tea
Style: Ripened (Shou) Pu-erh – Region: Yunnan, China50 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Mar. 17th, 2015
I've never had pu-erh before this, so I can't compare between brands. This tea brews a nice dark brown. The flavor is earthy and mellow. It's also pretty mild, a little sugar seemed to cover up most of the flavor. I liked it, but I didn't think it was outstanding.
I was given this tea, so I can't really rate its valu...

Original Tulsi Tea from Organic India
Style: Tulsi / Holy Basil – Region: India73 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Mar. 16th, 2015
I've never had tulsi before. It reminded me of chamomile tea, but stronger and more lemon-y, maybe. I really enjoyed it.

Tropical Hibiscus Herbal Tea from Simply Balanced
Style: Hibiscus Tea – Region: ?????80 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Mar. 15th, 2015
Yummy! It's a beautiful red color, the aroma is nice, and the flavor isn't too astringent for being mostly hibiscus - it's summery and tropical and fresh. I brewed the first cup for a little less than three minutes, and got a decent second cup out of it.

Mtn High Chai from Two Leaves and a Bud
Style: Chai / Spiced Tea – Region: Assam, India57 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Feb. 14th, 2015
After reading the reviews that said the flavor was a bit weak, I steeped mine until the water turned cold and added a bit of sugar and milk. I think the longer brewing time helped the weak flavor. It was pretty good, though a bit astringent at the bottom of my mug. The aroma is awesome, but the flavor just doesn't live...

Peach Jasmine Dragon Pearl Green Tea from TeaVivre
Style: Fruit Green Tea – Region: Fujian, China70 / 100 Aroma: 10/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 3rd, 2015
I'm not sure if I can review this tea accurately. I misjudged; I used too much tea and I think I steeped it for too long, so I got a bitter, astringent cup. The aroma, dry or steeped, is incredible - hearty, natural peach. Even with an over-steeped, strong cup, the peach flavor was still awesome. I'd probably use 7-10 ...

Serendipitea from Silver Tips Tea
Style: Flavored Green Tea – Region: Japan87 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 3rd, 2015
I went through a few months' addiction to this tea. Green tea base, with pineapple and papaya flavors. It's very pretty dry and loose, the aroma is fruity and even tropical, and the flavor is great - not super fruity, but just enough. The green tea is just enough to bolster the other flavors, but doesn't mask them.

Jasmine Basic from Silver Tips Tea
Style: Jasmine Tea – Region: China83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5

Neither the green tea nor the jasmine is overpowering; this tea has a nice, balanced flavor that's not perfume-y or smoky. I usually don't like green or flowery teas, but I love this one!

Sencha (Sen-cha), Loose-leaf from Yamamotoyama
Style: Sencha – Region: Japan67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Feb. 1st, 2015
I usually dislike green teas because they taste smoky, but there's no smokiness here. Weak, vegetable-like aroma, with a rich, nutty, vegetable flavor that's strong and yes, a bit bitter. I put a touch of sugar in and it was very good.

American Classic Tea from Charleston Tea Plantation (American Classic Tea)
Style: Black Tea – Region: South Carolina, United States77 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Jan. 25th, 2015
On my scale from 1 (Lipton) to 10 (totally transcendent), this tea is about an 8. Very good: full-bodied and not too sour, acidic or tannic - but not my favorite black tea. It would probably make a really excellent iced tea with lemon.

Yummy! Brews up very pale yellow with an aroma of vegetables and/or nuts, maybe most like butternut squash. Tastes like squash too, a little. Very rich and full - unexpectedly delicious.

Spring Keemun from Andrews & Dunham Damn Fine Teas
Style: Keemun – Region: China83 / 100 Aroma: 9/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Jan. 12th, 2015
This is a really good black tea. The leaves are very pretty dry. The brewed tea isn't too acidic - I accidentally left the strainer in for over an hour once and it was still very yummy. A second brew is still good, but weaker of course.

Genmai-cha Green Tea (10 ct.) from Yamamotoyama
Style: Genmaicha – Region: Japan77 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5
Jan. 8th, 2015
I was very intrigued by this tea. I dislike green tea, but this had toasted rice and bits of popcorn in it. It's very interesting-looking, loose. I was really interested in how it tasted.
It smells like popcorn or rice cakes and cooked greens - maybe spinach or kale. Not a bad aroma, but not one I associate with tea....

Honey Black Tea from Health & Tea
Style: Black Tea – Region: Taiwan / Formosa83 / 100 Aroma: 8/10 Flavor: 5/5 Value: 3/5

This tea is really lovely: sweet and not bitter. It's light but still has that black tea kick. The leaves are big and tough, I had to crush them to get them into my strainer. Yummy!

This chai smells so good ... like cloves and cinnamon, or spiced apple cider. It tastes a little weak, and not really like it smells, but it's still enjoyable.

I'm not sure if I like this tea. The aroma was very fruity, but the flavor was somewhat weak. I think I was expecting more fruit than hibiscus, from the description and the aroma - but it's not very fruity. The hibiscus flavor is not too tart or overpowering, which is nice.

This tea is fresh and well-balanced, good hot or cold. It's caffeine free but the spicy ginger wakes me up. One of my favorites!

What a delicate, light tea! There is nothing "ultra" about it - it's nicely balanced and has a great taste, but don't expect spice. Milk and sugar are good in it, but not to excess, because they can cover the taste of this tea up pretty quickly.

Honey Vanilla Chai from Celestial Seasonings

What a horrible tea. It smells incredible, but somehow it tasted like cigarette smoke to me.
That being said, the overwhelming flavor was of white tea, which I really dislike, so perhaps it's just me!

India Spice Chai from Celestial Seasonings
Style: Chai / Spiced Tea – Region: ?????70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Jun. 4th, 2013
This is the best chai i have found so far, but it's still not the greatest. It needs milk/cream and sugar to fill out the flavor. Sometimes I brew one of these teabags in with one teabag of black tea, to balance it a little more.

I found this tea very weak. It tasted good; overall the flavor was smooth and the cinnamon was nice, but even when I brewed it until the water was cold, it was weak. Eh. I'll probably not buy it again.

I found this to be quite a mild peppermint tea. It was good, but I think I prefer Celestial Seasoning's peppermint tea, as it's stronger.
