Alex and I had very different experiences with this tea.I was only able to brew this once and I did so, following Gingko's instructions of water just off the boil, for about 1.5 minutes. I am still feeling my way with Oolongs, so I followed Directions and brewed this at about 205 for about 2 minutes. There was a light flowery scent that flowed right into a soft flowery taste, that just skims over your tongue. I want to experiment with different times and temps to see how that might change.

In spite of this not being the top grade, it is a wonderful tea, a bit - very tiny bit - smokey, but winey and deep, with some roasted overtones. Very satisfying.

I can't say enough good about this tea. It is lovely to look at, to smell and to taste. An absolutely superb jasmine, well worth every penny you spend on it. It is delicate, but gives a full mouth feel. The scent is easily the best, as is the taste and I do love Jasmine teas.
