I was surprised by this tea. Once again, I think some teas grown outside of 'traditional' can have an usual taste. I have had tea from Kenya before and it was a bit of a disappointment. A mild earthy aroma. Taste is mild with a slight woodsy after taste. Nice dark brown liquor. Very pleasant over all. This is a tea for anytime of the day sipping.

This tea has a mild earthy smell with a hint of chocolate. The liquor is a medium to dark amber color. I get a lingering hint of sweetness, similar to honey. Though I never add anything to my tea, I think lemon would pair very well with this tea. I was unsure about buying this. My previous encounters with African teas ...

Mild pungent aroma. Smooth flavor.
Certainly an "all day" tea choice.
Excellent price.
When I first spotted this tea, I was leery.
My other encounters with African grown teas have been disappointing. This one is the best so far.
