I found the aroma to be very green, like bamboo leaves and herbaceous like dill weed. There is also earthiness and the aroma of baked bread with a slight undertone of sweetness. The ginseng is an odd smelling herb, it gives a slight muskiness to the already herbaceous aroma.

The aroma smells nothing like apples or caramel, it smells like melons. I really do not like melons. Once brewed the melon smell dies down and there are notes of apples and caramel.

The initial aroma of the leaves is unmistakably almond, sadly I do not smell any Oolong at first and that made me a bit hesitant. After brewing the smell of almond subsides and the oolong shows itself. The taste is very mild, light almond and Oolong flavors for an overall subtle tea.
