Commercial Description
Senchas typically have dark green, needle shaped leaves and produce a pale green to yellow, very bright and smooth cup with a sweetish, honey like finish. Add to that the unique, almost citrus-tropical flavor Lichee fruit and the aromatic taste of freshly plucked jasmine petals layered in the green tea during processing.
Brewing Instructions: (from Banff Tea Co.)
Use one teaspoon (3g) of tea per 6oz ‘cup’ of water. Steep at 72-80°C (160-194°F) for 2-3 minutes.

I think I bought this just because it smelled sooo good in the store. It smells just like it sounds – lots of lychee and jasmine. I decided to use this to test out the iced tea infusion pitcher my mom bought me from Teavana. I brewed the tea hot, added a couple tablespoons of honey (this is for 2L of tea), and then put the pitcher in the fridge to cool. This made a really delicious iced tea! The sweetness from the honey really complements the lychee flavour, and it balances well with the jasmine. I suspect it’s also relatively high in caffeine, because it definitely perks me up!
