PG Tips as I know so far is one of the most loved teas in the UK. It is strong and Aromatic and indeed, Posh, It has so many good qualities so if you like tea alot I suggest you get this one because it's strong and really nice and even if you smell the teabag it's so strong and real tea drinkers drink PG Tips. I personally like the tea's with teabags because the loose ones float about in the tea. I also think it tastes Grainy the loose ones. So I prefer Teabags and now I am going to get to the bit where what biscuits its good with. I personally like it with digestives or Fox's Rich Tea. Chocolatey Biscuits like Oreo's aren't really good with it since PG Tips is best hot and Oreo, If it's too hot it melts and gets in the tea and bits of Oreo in your tea isn't really nice. And also it makes the Oreo taste abit Bad but I think PG Tips is best on its own because I drink it on it's own. But Biscuits like Digestives can go nicely with it. Normally with my breakfast everyday I either have Coffee or PG Tips. I love it and It helps me wake up because of it's epic flavour. In the UK and Indeed all around the world it's loved by millions. The reason it's so nice is because when the companies use the tea leaves the secret they use is that they only pick the top two leaves on each tea plant. And they also pick the Bud and they pick the best leaves that go with the tea. If it was rated by the Times or any other companies that rate things it would get an absolute glowing piece written by them. And by the way I am not sponsored by PG Tips to give them rating and reviews I just love their tea so much I can't resist writing this. They work hard and the value of the tea is 100% worth it and PG Tips is the best of the best tea's I can recommend.

This is an all time fave in the UK and has many fans including me. It is quick brewing and very robust, certainly not for the faint hearted, or the chap down the page who gets 5 cups from 1 tea bag. He is clearly not an English tea drinker, who on average likes it hot, strong and sweet with a good dash of milk. Of course, like any other food or drink, the perception of how good a particular tea is, can be a highly subjective choice. But in the case of PG Tips the sales figures speak for themselves, whatever the Lapsang Souchong tut-tutters may have to say on the subject. Just how long you steep a teabag for is, again, a highly personal matter. For me 1m 37.5 secs is just right although I do know a couple of chaps, hod-carriers (HC's), who leave it in until they have drained their mugs. HC's don't use the traditional English cup and saucer with raised pinkie. The cup and saucer brigade, a dying breed most certainly, would never use PG Tips Pyramid bags, preferring instead the loose leaf version in a teapot. The Pyramid bag is a meaty beast and easily provides two 10 ounce mugs of strong black tea. Five would be pushing it a bit. But this is a tea for all occasions, and may be served accordingly, either with cucumber sandwiches or good
"Digestive" biscuit.

This tea, to my tongue, is bitter and grainy. I was disappointed after reading some good reviews. I guess there is a tea for everyone!

Your standard, full flavored, "meaty" morning tea. A fine value at $.10/bag, and a cut above the bagged saw dust in your office break room.

My go-to tea bag when I don't want to bother with loose. I think it is the best of the teabag teas. It is consistent and always good. It is a basic breakfast blend and as such, does well. You cannot compare it with loose leaf tea, only with other bags.

I'm a fan of PG tips for mornings when I just want a quick cup of strong tea to wake me up. It has a strong, malty aroma, that translates through to the taste as well. it has a slightly bitter flavor, similar to english breakfast. There is a slight frutiness as well. a very basic morning tea.

I used to live in the UK and became addicted to hot tea. Now that I am back in the states, I drink more coffee than hot tea but I still have a nice cup of PG Tips in the evening. Sure is good!

People just adore PG Tips, and I know when I was living in England it was most of my British friends go-to brand. I, however, have found it to be a little difficult to brew- you've got to time the steeping perfectly or it ends up a bit bitter and dry tasting. I have better luck with Tetley's and Barry's which seemingly never get bitter for me... PG Tips is usually my last choice!

oh man, i have a special spot in my heart for this tea. i regularly drink it with milk at my british friend's house... a cup of that and a few "digestive biscuits" is a treat. a nice, smooth tea, assuming you don't steep it for too long. definitely has lots of bitter tannins. a protein source like milk is very effective at denaturing them though and is therefore essential in my opinion.

This is a smooth, full-bodied, flavorful tea. I make this tea everyday with non-dairy creamer (doesn't destroy the anti-oxidants) for my first cup of the day. I haven't had any experience of the tea getting bitter if left to steep too long but it does brew very quickly. This is the #1 tea in England and, in my opinion, deserves the title. This is a basic tea at it's finest!
