Commercial Description
This Irish Breakfast tea is a blend of broken Assam, Nilgiri and China blacks. The aroma reflects the heartiness of an Assam as well as the smoothness and slightly lemony taste of a Nilgiri.
Brewing Instructions: (from SpecialTeas)
Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 3-4 min. Try with milk and rock sugar.

Smooth and silky on the tongue, with a malty aftertaste that Irish breakfasts are known for, but less malty than most. Regarding value, worth twice the price paid Overall a great value, rich flavor, silky smooth mouth feel.

This is my everyday breakfast tea. Deeper and darker colored than an English breakfast, this very full-bodied black tea (with a splash of milk) is one of the most satisfying teas I've ever had. Not elegant, but full throttle flavors and finish. I buy it 2# at a time for $32. UPDATE: Special Teas has closed its doors. One of the greatest tea companies of the modern era is gone.
