With minimal caffeine, this tea wakes me up without the unnecessary kick. You can taste the cinnamon, lemongrass, and orange notes, but the papaya and pineapple fall short (which is fine, since that might make the tea unappealing to me). I typically do not brew this one twice, but the price is decent.
Tasting notes:
First steep: 1.5tsp/8oz, 200 degrees, 4 minutes.
Second steep: 200 degrees, 5 minutes.

Though the instructions say to steep this tea 5-6 minutes, I've found steeping it for 4 produces a more delicate flavor that I prefer. The only distinct aroma I can smell is a light cinnamon scent. It's not an especially complex tea, but it's nice.
I remember getting this because I enjoyed their free sample at the store, not realizing that it had been blended with something else. There the taste was more well rounded and sweeter.
Also, I've tried this drink cold and found it more enjoyable. I don't know how this is but, apparently, unlike food and other drinks, tea seems to taste sweeter when cold. Or perhaps I'm simply lucking out with my selections? Do others experience this?
I don't remember how much I paid for this one, but Teavana generally runs expensive.

This tea in frappe or hot with or without milk taste herbal and fruity.
The bad is it has an artificial flavor.

The aroma is dominantly cinnamon, and there's also a strong suggestion of vanilla, which I suspect is from the mate. Creamy overall character. Not much complexity, especially given how many ingredients there are. This blend contains appreciable amounts of red rooibos, but I can't find it in the aroma. I also cannot notice the cardamom.
Overall, disappointing, especially in comparison with Teavana's other blends, which I've found tend to be quite outstanding.
I think this blend would be greatly enriched by toning down the cinnamon, and perhaps, reducing the amount of mate as well. The mate and cinnamon seem to exclude any of the other aromas.
Also, this blend is pricey, given the low cost of the various ingredients in it. There's nothing really expensive as a main ingredient in this blend, to justify the high price.
