Commercial Description
Ten Ren's 1st Grade Green Tea is also known as Dragon and Phoenix Needles. The finished tea leaves have a clean plump look with white touches, thicker and plumper than others with very few stems. When steeped, these leaves produce a tea that has a light pleasing smell with a smooth taste and strong aftertaste. The hue of the tea is a bright greenish yellow.
Brewing Instructions: (from Ten Ren Tea)
The water used to steep this tea should be about 160-180°F or 70-80°C to prevent scalding the leaves. Use about 1 tablespoon (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 ml) of water. A steeping time of about 3-5 minutes is recommended. This tea may be infused 3 or more times.
