Curiously, this line of tea isn't found on the TEViVE website as of this writing, but I have no problem finding it in a local Dollar Tree, where I first saw it. On the bottom of the boxes, TEViVE provides a batch number and "best before" date, as well as lists the blueberry and honey flavorings as being natural. The product is packed in Sri Lanka and imported by a Houston-based distributor. Given that it was so cheap, and I do like blueberry-flavored teas, I figured to give this brand a try, and that I wouldn't be wasting much money if this turned out to be rubbish. The product actually was rather aromatic and tasty, exceeding expectations!
The dry-bag aroma is rather strong and pleasing; I like strong flavors, but some might find it a little too intense, as it nearly (but not entirely) overwhelms the tea. The same goes with the in-cup flavor, which is indeed blueberry dominant. I can taste the honey flavor with effort, but more so in the aftertaste. This beverage probably could do without the honey flavor altogether, and still be fine. I don't know what kind of Ceylon tea they use, but it definitely takes a backseat to the flavorings.
The wet bag ended up having the strongest tea aroma. I suppose that's because the flavorings washed out rather easy. Because each bag doesn't contain much tea (even the wet bag is less than half full), the cup brews up a clear-brown, but not very dark, and those who like resteeps probably shouldn't bother.
