A whole-leaf Nilgiri with vibrant aromatics, a sweet cup, and a gentle, crisp bite. Smooth yet very flavorful with medium body. Enjoyable plain or with milk.
RateTea Notes
Unusually for a single-estate tea, this has been in Upton's catalogue since 2009 or possibly earlier, and its commercial description has remained the same!

What a lovely aroma of fresh, woodsy, sweet florals. Both the dry and wet leaves give off this great scent. The tea liquor is a medium amber and has the very pleasant taste of what I might imagine would occur if the dry forest floor were brewable, crisp, smooth, sweet, somewhat earthy - the dry crisp earthy. Perhaps not a "great cup", but one you would return to again and again for the sort of comfort and crispness an old friend would give.
