Dark but surprisingly smooth cup...not much bitterness and astringency, and clean aftertaste. The aroma is complex and interesting but very hard to put into words...slightly more vegetal than typical for a black tea. It's hard for me to know exactly what to compare it to...it tastes more like a Yunnan black tea than anything else I've tried.
Great price for a tea of this quality. This was the first Kenyan tea I have ever sampled and I am now eager to try more.
