The first thing that strikes you with this tea is how intense the aroma is. Sadly it is mostly lemongrass and the Rooibos that you smell and none of the spices or other ingredients. Luckily after you brew it the other ingredients start to show up and the rest mellows out.
The flavor is weird, the first cup is extremely tart and a little bitter, not at all good. The second and third cup though bring out the other flavors. You can taste the earthiness of the Roobos, the apples and cinnamon, and even a mild tartness from the rosehips.
