The East India Company Ltd is a new company which owns the legal rights to the name of the historical East India Company. Sanjiv Mehta, born in India, bought the rights to the company in 2005.
The modern East India Company sells a number of goods, including tea, chocolate, coffee, and gifts, and has a store in london. The company's products are also available through their website.
As of January, 2018, all of the product pages for the EIC's teas were returning error messages, and we have been unable to verify whether or not the company is still selling tea.
