↑About Organic Herbie

Organic Herbie was a loose-leaf tea company founded by Jonas Bukenas and Justinas Mazonas and based in Kaunas, Lithuania. The company's prices were in Euros, and it shipped worldwide, offering free shipping. The company was oriented specifically towards selling small sample sizes, encouraging people to try many different kinds of teas.

All of this company's teas were certified organic by EU standards, but their packing process was not certified.

This company closed at some point in time, and deleted all their social media accounts so we were not able to verify the circumstances of its closure, but it is no longer in existance. Their last blog post was in August of 2019, and is available only in archived form. In 2022, the company's website was taken over by a spam website promoting porn sites, and shortly thereafter the domain lapsed.

Kenya Kosabei TGFOP Tea

A good "sipping" tea that I found I enjoyed most when I drank slowly. This tea had some characteristics of a Ceylon and some of a Darjeeling. I found it slightly tricky to brew. I liked its aroma, but could be a bit thin-bodied and bitter. Thank you to Organic Herbie for the free sample!
