↑About Tea Classico
Tea Classico is a tea company, founded in 2010 by Neil Aliev, and based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Neil Aviv got interested in tea through working in China and Japan in information technology, and became a collector of aged teas for 12 years prior to founding the company.
Tea Classico focuses on traditionally processed orthodox teas from small growers in China, Japan, and Taiwan. The company looks to balance a selection of some well-known teas with teas that are rarely available in the West. In addition to teas, the company also sells some traditional Chinese teaware.
The company also ensures that most of their teas get lab tested for pesticide residues, in compliance with European Union regulations.
