The aroma is a wonderful mix of earthiness and spice, especially cardamon. Once brewed the flavor becomes earthy, loamy, and spicy. It reminds me of a spiced forest floor. The brewed tea has an oaky aroma also with cardamon.

It smells very smokey right out of the package. Must have quite a bit of Keemun. An incredibly smooth black tea with not a hint of astringency. This was my first Golden Moon tea. I was favorably impressed.
