Vanilla Chai Spice from Eastern Shore Tea
Style: Chai / Spiced Tea – Region: Blend60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I adore a good chai tea, but I thought this one could have stood to possess more of a 'kick'. I also couldn't quite tell where I was supposed to detect the vanilla! I did not prepare this chai as a latte, and I have the feeling that had I done so I might not have been able to detect any actual spice at all. Nonetheless...

A sealed tea bag, served at a Unitarian Church in North Philly. This is the first tea I've tried from Eastern Shore tea, and, for a humble tea bag of flavored tea, I was impressed.
The base tea is strong and has a distinct character of its own, and the fruit flavoring is very subtle. I don't notice much blueberry,...

20, staple free, tea bags are in individually wrapped, foil, easy-tear, bags, that are inside a bag with a red, ribbon closure and an illustration of sliced blood oranges. The packaging was charming, and the idea of trying a blood oranges in black tea exciting.
The caffeine in this cup feels powerful for an 8 oz. It...

I put this flavored tea in the chocolate shelf of my tea cabinet. It has everything you can ask for and no unwanted distractions. Taste is like a melted truffle in your cup, made even more delightful with a splash of cream or evaporated milk, for that milk chocolate experience. The base is a nice creamy black tea so ...

This tea has an incredibly spicy aroma. I identified the cinnamon and pumpkin notes, but was unable to identify the other spices. (It turns out cloves were the only other spice in this blend.) As with many flavored teas, I could smell the spices/flavorings but not the tea base itself.
When I purchased this tea, I ...
