This is an odd tea. Very mild aroma, extremely mellow woody flavor, but then there's the most wonderfully fruity finish if you brew it just right. The aroma is mild and sweet, with notes of dried cherry and peonies (aha, so that is where the name comes from!) with a very delicate note of nasturtium and raisins, vaguely reminding me of a Darjeeling.
