Picture of African Honeybush, Mandarin and Orange

African Honeybush, Mandarin and Orange from Twinings

Style: Flavored Honeybush – Region: ?????

45 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 3/5
Aug. 4th, 2022

The dry bag smells like canned mandarin oranges and the infusion smells like orange soda.

The flavor is slightly more complex. I get some of the toasty woodiness of the honeybush and the flavor's nice, but is weak and a bit stale tasting. It's mediocre all around in that there are higher quality herbals and better-t...

Dec. 26th, 2020

Prep: 212F, 10min, 2tsp, 12oz

Aroma: This smells quite similar to the pumpkin spice black tea that I had yesterday. Very spicy notes of cinnamon. 8/10

Flavor: This is not quite as bold as the nose but there is plenty of spices jumping around the palate. Chai spices tend to be too much for Rooibos but this honeyb...

Honeybush African Princess (Nr. 170) from Wohlenberg

Half-litre pot at home. Pours clear orangeish copper brown with no sediment. Clear aroma of Rooibos, with touches of honey and hints of almonds and vanilla. Sweetish onset of honey and almonds, with touches of vanilla, giving way to bitterish tea notes and returning to the sweety nuances towards the end. Slightly rough...

Organic Vanilla Honeybush Herbal Tea from Stash Tea

Style: Flavored Honeybush – Region: Blend

50 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5
Sep. 28th, 2018

With the combination of vanilla and honey, I expected a lighter tea than it actually is... it's a rich mahogany color but, despite what Stash claims, I didn't find it to be a truly full-bodied tea. It's true that it's slightly spicy with a sweet aftertaste though. The flavor is moderately sweet and reminiscent of honey...

70 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

No milk or sugar required for this blend. Since I can't do caffeine late in the day this is perfect for curling up with a book on a quiet afternoon or having afternoon tea and treats with friend. It's naturally sweet but not overly sweet or artificial tasting.

Honeybush Orange from Adagio Teas

67 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5
Jul. 11th, 2014

Sweet, with an almost creamy orange flavor that tastes balanced, not fake. I enjoyed it except that it tasted watery compared to other adagio teas I've tried--though this might have been because it was a different barista at the tea shop this time. Maybe it was made weaker. Still, the flavor it did have was lovely, and...

I am usually not a huge fan of honeybush tea but this tea was delicious! The hazelnut compliments it perfectly and it lasts several steepings. Really good with a dash of cream.

This was one of my first honeybush tea encounters, and it was a pleasant one.

The aroma is warm and inviting, smelling sweetly and richly of apricots and peaches.

That aroma is carried on to the taste, and it has such a warming flavor. It is sweet and very delightful, with bold apricot and peach flavors.

African Honeybush, Mandarin and Orange from Twinings

Style: Flavored Honeybush – Region: ?????

43 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 2/5

Aroma mostly of orange...no noticeable honeybush characteristics in the aroma, although the honeybush imparts a reddish brown color and a pleasant full-bodied character to this tea. The orange aroma has very little complexity. Nondescript flavor...not really sweet, sour, or bitter...this is a rather neutral tea that ...
