Overall, this is a very decent tea.
The smell is very nice but is just like a typical black tea.
The flavor is very nice and is almost like a less malty Irish breakfast tea with cocoa notes. The tea is naturally sweet and also very smooth and creamy. I re-steep this tea 4 times(western brewing) using less than 3 grams(about 3 pearls.) with 8 oz cups. And i think this is where the tea shines. The reason I didn't rate the tea higher is not because it is expensive for what you get, but because there are better black dragon pearls out there. I like the teavivre.com version better, and it only costs 12$ for 3.5 ounces compared to 19 for 3 ounces.
