This is the first tea review I can blame or credit directly to the ongoing coronavirus. We were having Sprouts groceries plucked from within and brought curbside—an activity not undertaken before this pandemic—and the Instacart shopper either mistakenly got "Mint Magic" instead of the peppermint tea I ordered, or decided to substitute. Uh...not cool...this ain't the same stuff! At first, I was visibly and audibly displeased when I woke up and saw that this is the mint tea that got home. Then I realized: "Hey, here's a chance to do a RateTea review on one I haven't tried yet!" So here we are.
No, it surely ain't the same stuff. I strongly prefer peppermint to spearmint-heavy blends, and this exemplifies the latter. Nonetheless, for a spearmint tea, CS has done a good job of layering in other flavors to keep it from tasting like flat spearmint gum when sweetened. Instead, it tastes like a somewhat-flat blend of spearmint and Juicy Fruit—say, two sticks of the former and one of the latter, chewed together. I know this because I tested blends of my mom's chewing gums when I was but a wee lad. Those experiments terminated abruptly, with prejudice, when one too many used wads of gum ended up stretching out between the carpet and her shoe's sole.
The tea's ingredients are: spearmint, peppermint (not very influential), roasted chicory (apparently providing some body, and a creamy undertone that I do like), cinnamon (don't taste, but can smell if I try hard), and orange peel (yes, that's certainly apparent). Not a bad blend, but not one I'll be ordering proactively. When it comes to CS' mint genre, back to the peppermint and Candy Cane teas for me!

It's enjoyable, but you cannot use the tea bag twice.
