Often described as simply tasting blue, this tea has an intense wild blueberry flavor with subtle overtones of purple grapes. It's a sweet and deep berry flavor that's equally delicious hot and over ice.

After running out of my favorite blueberry-flavored tea faster than expected, I got this in a moment of desperation, made easier to rationalize by a temporarily low sale price at Sprouts.

True Blueberry is one of the few herbal teas I've tried whose primary advertised flavor smells substantially stronger in the dry bag, and even in the cup to some extent, than the taste yields. Sniffing the newly opened (or reopened) box of bags is quite pleasing, if one likes blueberries. I could make out the blueberry adequately in the taste, but it was nearly overpowered by the hibiscus, rose hips, orange peel, and other typical "Zinger" ingredients that CS uses for its fruity herbal line (even though this doesn't carry the Zinger name, per se). Also like other "Zingers", this one is a chameleon, changing colors as it steeps, starting maroon/purple and ending in a geenish-gray, somewhat opaque appearance. Overall, a modestly good experience...but the stated flavor could be more prominent and a bit less sour. At least I used up the box.

I didn't try this beverage iced, but now regret not doing so (I'm back to my usual Murchie's blueberry green tea). True Blueberry probably translates better iced than hot, but I'm not going to buy a box in wintertime, at regular price, just for that purpose.

This fruit tea smells just like crushed blueberries. Sipping the tea emphasizes the tartness and astringency of the hibiscus and rosehips that seem to be in all fruit tea these days. The finish tastes like canned blueberry pie filling.

The flavoring in this is too heavy. I think I'd just prefer the hibiscus and rosehips.

One of my favorite CS teas. You can really taste the blueberry in this tea. This tea doesn't need sweetener either as it has a nice, full bodied taste.

It smells very nice, like blueberries, but there's a weird note of orange. Flavorwise, it tastes like it's an orange tea, not a blueberry tea, and unfortunately I don't like oranges.

My family members who *do* like oranges all enjoyed it, and it was good mixed in with something less orange, but if you don't like oranges you might not like it.

Not bad! Lightly tart and simply blueberry, I enjoy this one. There's really nothing else going for it, but if you're in the mood for a straightforward fruit tea, it fits the bill. As people mentioned, the smell is more robust than the flavor. I tried this with milk and it made a decent (but not amazing) latte.

My biggest complaint is that it's only good for exactly one cup. The second cup has virtually nothing left to infuse: barely even tinting the color of the water. Hence, despite being low in price, the value on this one is still merely average.

Not bad, but it has a weird almost pungent (in a bad way) scent with a weirdly artificial aftertaste. Not bad, but not great.

Not bad with honey. You get what you pay for.

smells of blueberry of course... but also slightly musty...may be the kettle or water brewed in... taste is lacking a bit... not as strong as hoped...but definitely a decent blueberry flavor...ok, but nothing grand

I don't usually like fruity herbal teas very much, but this one is pretty good. It has a rich savory-like flavor that I can only taste in the back of my mouth.
