The main aroma I get from this tea is the lemongrass which I enjoy. The flavor of this tea is mainly the sour lemony flavor from the lemongrass along with the fresh taste from the peppermint. Overall this tea is very fresh and zingy but still mild and pleasant to drink. I normally am not crazy about peppermint teas but as an ingredient in this particular herbal mix I actually really like it! The only issue I have is that is has a slightly bitter aftertaste. This tea actually really reminds me of Tazo Zen tea (which also has mint and lemongrass) but this tea tastes way better and seems better quality than the tazo tea. I would buy this again!

Tension Tamer is top notch, my favorite CS tea alongside Candy Cane Lane (but for different reasons). The flavor is pleasantly strong and spicy, yet still mellow and relaxing, very befitting its advertised role as a comfort food of the tea world. This is best consumed in front of a fireplace or under a blanket on a cold night. It's my second-favorite sickness tea, behind pure peppermint, but I drink it a lot when healthy too.
Have you ever had a casserole, pie or soup so balanced of many ingredients that it tastes like none of them, but instead, has its own unique flavor? That's Tension Tamer. The whole is better than the sum of its parts. I don't know what eleuthero by itself should taste like, but it seems to be the right puzzle piece to hold chamomile and mint in check so that neither dominate (and I do like both chamomile and mint by themselves).

This is one of my favorite of the Celestial Seasonings brand, lacking the tartness of the zingers and the weird aftertastes of some of the ginsengs. The taste is simple and a bit bland, suggestive of camomile. I prefer it with a little more mint and often add a sprig of fresh mint in the summer or a sprinkle of dried in winter. The effect is soothing and pleasant, nothing dramatic.

I drink this tea a lot when I get sick because it makes me feel better. The flavor is a bit of an acquired taste but I have grown quite fond of it. The ginseng is dominant in the aroma and imparts a bitterness and an earthy quality which blends well with the ginger. The peppermint and lemon lightens this one somewhat. I initially thought this was not the best-tasting brew but I have grown to enjoy it.
