Harney's Paris blend is an interesting and likeable variation on the Earl Grey formula. In addition to bergamot, this has vanilla, black currant, and caramel flavors added to black and oolong teas. It makes for a sweet and festive tea that goes well with milk and sugar.

The scent of this was delicious. The scent of the tea after brewing was delicious. But, there wasn't much to the flavor. At the end of the cup, after the tea had cooled, the notes sat on my palette better. But, something about the notes bypassed my palette when the tea was hot. This might be good as an iced tea. But, as a hot tea, it really didn't have much taste at all. I think Celestial Seasonings Zinger teas are better for making iced tea. Unless you're looking for this specific flavor profile, I wouldn't recommend it. It really didn't impress me and felt overpriced, given the lackluster brewing experience.

Aside from the blackcurrant, the flavoring in this is rather subtle. The tea base is moderately rich and has a darkness in color as well as taste. It is almost a bit too tart but that's where the faint vanilla and caramel rescue it to give it some sweetness.
It's a good example of blending done well with flavoring. That's not to say it doesn't come off like a flavored tea; it's at heart still a blackcurrant tea, albeit one with faint flowery hints.
Seems like a reasonable value, but only if you like flavored tea (I received mine as a gift).
