I got a sample of this in my last order from MTW. It looks just like the photo on the web page, not CTC but not whole leaf either. Looks like it came from a teabag.
I brewed it 4 minutes using boiling water per instructions. It had a slightly muddy appearance. The main impression was astringency, that coated the tongue completely. Not exactly pleasant.
In appearance and taste it was very similar to Twinings loose English Breakfast. It's not bad tea but not nearly my favorite from MTW.
