A very smooth, yet somewhat complex mint that struck me as all or mostly spearmint, although Mighty Leaf doesn't specify exactly what mint is used.
I'm a tough customer when it comes to mint teas; I've grown dozens of different types of mint in my gardens, and spent years carefully blending them. Most commercially available mint teas strike me as mediocre.
But this one got my attention from as soon as I smelled the tea bag; the aroma of the dry leaf was smooth yet complex, mellow, creamy, like spearmint candy, but with herbaceous notes. And this is before I steeped it!
Upon brewing, some interesting vegetal notes come out, like I normally only encounter either in fresh mint tea, or herbs I've dried myself.
The flavor is strong: it's smooth up-front but there's a bitter aftertaste.
Resteeped surprisingly well. I steeped 5 minutes as recommended; a second cup though required a very long (15+ minute) steeping to make it as flavorful as the first.
Pricey, but this is my favorite commercially available mint tea yet, and it truly stands out among the others I've tried.

this is one of the better mint teas i've had. a decent amount of mint per bag. fragrant and flavorful. seems fresh.
downside? mighty leaf's a bit pricey.
