↑About Capital Teas
Capital Teas is a tea company based in the Washington, DC area. Capital Teas has retail tea stores in several states and also sells tea online. The company was founded in 2006 by wife-and-husband team Manelle and Peter Martino, and their first store was opened in Annapolis, MD in 2007, expanding first into the D.C. area and then nationally.
The company was rapidly expanded, but perhaps expanded overzealously; in July of 2017 it filed for a bankruptcy reorganization. The company was able to stay in business, but closed 10 of its 22 stores.

An intriguing blend, very different from the other two examples of Rooibos chai that I've tried, the ones from Culinary Teas and from Wegmans. The final of three Capital Teas samples that my parents were given as a gift, which they let me try. Excellent with milk, not so much without.

Wow. An exceptional tea. This was definitely the best breakfast tea I've ever tried, I'd go farther and say it was the best of any blended tea. This was one of three teas in a sampler pack that my parents received as a gift, and I'm glad they gave me some to try.
