note: this is the first golden monkey tea i've tried.
aroma and flavor: rich, nutty, woody.
this is quality, but i think there are cheaper and tastier teas out there.

note: this is the only lapsang souchong i've tried.
very powerful in both flavor and aroma. a very smokey smell. many people i've offered it to told me it smells like a camp fire. i definitely smell the terpenes (chemicals from the pine wood).
i am a big fan of this tea, but it is definitely not for everyone. ...

Overall a smooth cup, with a refreshing aroma. Good as a morning or afternoon tea.
