Egyptian Licorice from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend50 / 100 Aroma: 7/10 Flavor: 1/5 Value: 3/5

This blend was far too sweet for me, which is perhaps understandable given that licorice is naturally sweet, and it was the first and main ingredient, and the second ingredient was cinnamon bark, which is also naturally sweet.
Aroma is dominately licorice but has much complexity. I notice the cinnamon too, but have...
Woman’s Raspberry Leaf from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend60 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

I'm a man, and I know this is usually marketed as a women's health product, but I really like raspberry leaf, and I drink it mainly for flavor. The package says "Strengthens the female system." and, at least from my experience, I think this assertion is true--I like drinking this herb and I certainly have a lot of str...

I drank this tea mainly to see how it tasted, not for its medicinal effects. There are so many different ingredients, many of them strongly aromatic. In this blend, however, they come across more as complex, and less muddled, which I think shows some artfulness on behalf of the blenders at Yogi.
Many tones emerge...
St. John’s Wort Blues Away from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend53 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 4/5

I picked a single teabag of this up...not enough to judge its antidepressant effects (supposedly it takes weeks to notice anything), but I was curious what it tasted like.
Brewing as instructed (10+ minutes) it produces a complex aroma of herbs, earth, licorice, and fennel. There are a lot of different ingredients ...
Aztec Sweet Chili (formerly Mexican Sweet Chili) from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend50 / 100 Aroma: 5/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 3/5

Peppery, producing a light burn even drinking a third of the cup.
Although the aroma suggests cocoa, spice, and warmth, the flavor is surprisingly cool, clean, and fresh. Licorice is definitely noticable as the dominant tone in the aroma; the cocoa is more subdied. Fairly balanced aroma, hard to tell where one spi...
Comforting Chamomile from Yogi Tea
Style: Pure Chamomile Tea – Region: ?????60 / 100 Aroma: 4/10 Flavor: 4/5 Value: 4/5

The teabag contains pretty fine dust--I can't see any whole flowers. Smoother, but blander than other chamomiles. Nothing really jumps out about this one. Slightly more floral, slightly sweeter, less of the muted bitter aftertaste...but not terribly complex or strong either.
Decent but unremarkable. I think I'd ...
Green Tea Super Antioxidant from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: Blend27 / 100 Aroma: 3/10 Flavor: 2/5 Value: 2/5
Mar. 25th, 2010
Aroma is dominantly a sort of strange, light, earthy smell. There's some tea presence in the aroma but it's weak, generic, and takes a back burner. The tea is smooth...not much bitterness, but overall, not much flavor, even when brewed in a rather small cup for 3 or more minutes.
While I usually respect Yogi's app...
Breathe Deep from Yogi Tea
Style: Wellness Tea / Medicinal Tea – Region: ?????67 / 100 Aroma: 6/10 Flavor: 3/5 Value: 3/5

Smooth, naturally sweet, with licorice dominating the aroma, and a fair amount of mintiness present. Mellower than I expected for a tea with mint and eucalyptus. Soothing.
I imagine this one would also be good for a sore throat, as it seems to sooth irritation in addition to clearing your head. It also tastes pre...
