Not my favorite tea. A little bit soapy and bitter tasting and there wasn’t much interesting stuff going on to redeem it. The aroma was really weak too so overall not worth it for me. I’m giving it a 50 because it’s not that great but it’s also like not too horrible. I wouldn’t buy it again though.

I found this to be a subdued, but intriguing tea that seemed to have a lot of depth and complexity. Although it doesn't jump out at me, I found that it seemed a little different each time I drank it.
It's also another tea that in many respects resembles some of the large-leaf Assam teas (not just Assamica cultivar, ...

Amazing tea! It doesn't have a super strong aroma but it is really nice and soothing. The taste is warming and toasty and also a bit sweet; It's not harsh at all. It is also very thick bodied and rich! This tea is a great price too for how good quality and tasty it is.

I found this tea absolutely delightful. I continue to be impressed with Yunnan Sourcing, ordering one top-notch tea after another, all reasonably priced.
The dry leaf has the most amazing aroma of any tea I've sampled over the past couple years. It's both strong and complex, floral, malty, spicy, and lightly smoky a...

This is one of those really dangerous teas...very caffeinated but incredibly mild and smooth tasting, so it is very easy to brew it too strongly and get uncomfortably wired.
Dry leaf has a potent and very pleasing aroma: strongly malty with cocoa notes, and a faint hint of smoke and vegetal notes. Contrasting with t...

This tea has a nice dusty flavor. It's a little weak for my taste, but if I brew it for long enough it's good. I added cream and sugar.

The aroma of the rather rough and green leaves is very sharp, like wet hay and, well, fermented tea leaves, it has that distinct fermentation smell that you get off of things that have started to become great friends with the microbes that are now hanging out with them. Mix in faint notes of honey, green beans, spinach...

A strange tea, with a lot going on.
Aroma of the dry cake is unimpressive, even slightly unpleasant, but when I brew it, it becomes much better tasting. It looks attractive at least, with a lot of golden tips.
Besides the dusty tones reminiscent of a damp basement (which are most evident before actually sipping ...

This tea had a nice roasty and dark taste. I liked it's strength, not too strong and not too mellow. I thought this tea was good. I haven't had many other puerh teas to compare it with!

The dry leaf of this looks unusually wiry and tippy for a ripe Pu-erh, with a lot of golden tips. It is quite aromatic, and the aroma is typical for ripe Pu-erh, with perhaps only a faint suggestion of more complexity.
Upon brewing, 1 teaspoon of leaf and 1 minute as recommeded for one cup, this produces a dark col...
