About Himalayas

The Himalayas are the world's tallest mountain range. The Himalayan region of India and surrounding countries is an important tea-growing region. This region produces mostly black teas.

This region includes high-altitude parts of Darjeeling, Sikkim, and Nepal. These regions have a similar climate and thus their teas are sometimes blended together to produce teas that retain a consistent high-grown Himalayan character, distinct from other regions that produce high-grown teas, such as Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka or Nantou, Taiwan.

This category includes blends of tea from two or more Himalayan regions.
