Our Organic Kukicha is made from the stems, stalks and twigs of the tea trea plant, giving it a mildly nutty, and slightly creamy sweet flavor. This is a popular macrobiotic tea. Naturally low in caffeine. Organic Green Twig Tea from Japan.

Very creamy for this style. Compared to other roasted kukicha (kukicha+hojicha), this has a richer, more full-bodied character, but a milder roast. Aroma has tones of vanilla. Much more oolong-like than any other hojicha I have tried.
