Commercial Description
A basic green tea from China's Zhejiang Province, Gunpowder is a good everyday green tea. The tea takes its name from the rolled leaf balls that are leaden in color. Like spent gunpowder, it has a slight smoky flavor.

This is an easy-drinking green tea with grassy notes an a faint whiff of herbs (I dunno - but I get an herbaceous quality if you let it steep long enough.) Must steep at least 3 minutes as it brews up "pale". Good hot and OK on ice. I live this one better hot. Super-mild. As with all Harney & Sons - beautifully packaged and makes a decent gift tea.
